THE MERIT OF THE MESSAGE
There may be someone who might be asking whether or not such a trip like this is worth all of the investments of time, trouble, effort, energy and expense. Some have complained that we were gone from the church too long. Others may need to be encouraged for the sacrifice they made in prayer, loving concern and in giving. Thus, we are devoting some time and space to evaluate the investment of our lives, although the final evaluation will be made at the Judgement Seat of Christ.
How much money is happiness is worth? Joy? Peace? Victory? A life lived in God’s favour, God’s presence, God’s anointing? How much money is it worth to save a marriage? To keep a baby girl from being mutilated? These things always happen when the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached and taught:
The Message that we preach contains the following elements:
1) The King’s Greatest Secret
2) The Throne-Room Mentality
3) Kingdom Glory
4) Kingdom Marriage or Sanctified Celibacy
5) The Gospel of the Kingdom
6) Body Stewardship: Health and Nutrition
7) Female Circumcision
Q. How important is the Gospel of the Kingdom?
A. We are to seek the Kingdom of God first. John 6:27 “Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for Him hath God the Father sealed. 28 Then said they unto Him, ‘What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?’ 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, ‘This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him Whom He hath sent.’ ” (KJV)
1 Cor 15:57 “But thanks be to God, Which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (KJV) Remember the saying, “Only one life, it will soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ, will last.”?!.
The Kingdom of God was the most important thing to the prophets, to the psalmist, to John the Baptist, to Jesus, to the early disciples, to the apostle Paul, and to the last day disciples. Mt.24:13-14 says, “But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved. 14 And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.” (NAS)
Although most of the people to whom we minister were Christians, before we came, most of them do not live a life-style of intimacy with God, do not know the Gospel of the Kingdom, do not live overcoming victorious Christian lives, do not see themselves as sitting on the Throne with Christ, and do not have a revelation that Christ is available to live His Glorious Life through them. Fifty to 100% of the people to whom we go still believe in female circumcision, that it is right to cut and carve the faces and genitals of the baby girls. Through us, God brings these people into a revelation of these things, and people are saved, and set free from sin and defeat. Marriages are revolutionized and married people discover that God intended that sex, for marrieds, is to be frequent and delightful. It is still true, that both here and in Africa, in fact, every where we know of in the Body of Christ at large, less than one in ten thousand believers has any awareness that Christ wants to beeeeeeeeee their life, or that they have been or why they have been crucified with Christ. That’s what we go to tell them, and as a result, people become more loving, more humble, more effective, more holy, more joyful, more peaceful, more productive, more pleasing to Christ. I challenge you to put a price tag on these things. A rich harvest reaped of the fruit of the Spirit follows our sowing and planting.
And you? Every thing you give, every dollar, every check, every prayer, every sacrifice, every assistance, makes you a vital, a very important part of this planting, this sowing, this reaping. To those of you have given, are giving and who will give, total strangers will be coming up to you for eternity, and saying “thank you”, for the money you have sacrificially given and the prayers you took time to pray. In fact, if you endure until the End, you will be rewarded eternally, for the sacrifice you have made, and for the part you have played. We ourselves, in behalf of our selves, and representing all of the multitudes who have benefited from your sacrifice, and in behalf of the Lord Jesus Yahshua Christ, we say, “Thank you”.
Joshua and I may, in the process of telling our story, we may tell it as though it is he and I against the world, but let me state clearly that every thing we did, every mile we traveled, every message we gave, all the good that was accomplished, was a team effort, with you as an important, a very vital part, of what we accomplished. You are, and have been, and will, by God’s grace, continue to be an extremely important part of our adventures in God. We, you and us, remember that it is Yahshua Jesus, the Precious Holy Spirit, and Powerful Father God, Who are at work within us, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. So, we give God all the glory. Amen.
