“My First Time: How I came to go to Africa.”
Because of this love for missions and missionaries and native peoples, we got to know and love a student from Nigeria who was attending North Central Bible College in Minneapolis. We did not know, at first, that Paul Betiku, as it turned out, had been a lovely pastor in Nigeria, and was highly respected, and influential with an international Nigerian prophet/evangelist and his powerful ministry. Because of the kindness we were showing to Brother Paul, and to his family and friends, but not knowing of his influence, I received an invitation to come and minister in Nigeria at their international annual convention conference, in 1988. Here is an adventure story from that conference.
